The Furformer continuity suits TFA Prowl very well, particularly with his build and personality. And yes, Roddy seems very suspicious of Prowl (I love Prowl's face so). But Prowl seems very pleased with himself so whether he is teasing Roddy for some purpose or just the pleasure of it, he seems satisfied with the results.
